Pandemic Social Savvy

The Pandemic rages on and that means everyone is moving into the digital space at a rapid pace. It’s getting harder and harder to stand out online and in a wellbranded manner. Here are a few tips to get your brand standing out in no time. And if you need a little help, we’re a phone call away!

  1. Your brand standing out is about a cohesive digital marketing strategy and aligning your identity with the goals of your company. Start with some amazing messaging on each and every channel. Make sure you pay attention to the details of your brand. If you’re a retail boutique - talk about what you’re selling. Details matter, not just ‘buy this candle’. Talk about the smell, the glass, the color and how the aroma makes you feel like you’re back in summer camp and it was the best time of your life.

  2. The world is moving fast - which means you have to as well. Reevaluate what you’re saying and how you’re saying it. If you’re a restaurant and you’re not shouting from the rooftops that your restaurant is offering To Go, then it’s not happening in today’s world. You have to move quickly to offer all of the same things on all digital platforms available to you.

  3. Put your social media to work, that’s why you have it. Don’t use it as a mechanism to just see what other people are doing. Sell your products, uplift your community and above all use it DAILY.

  4. Use your company page for your company business. Don’t put up social statements or political agendas. Use it for BUSINESS. Cancel Culture is a very real thing in today’s digital world and you don’t want your business subjected to this type of behavior for posting about things that are controversial for your brand.

  5. Do not ‘capitalize’ on the pandemic. Your loyal customer does want to hear from you and new customers who are finding you online, but they want to know that what you’re selling or doing is going to make life better, less complicated or doing something for your community.
